To All Prospective Show Participants,
The 2009 St. Lawrence River Rustic Show, sponsored by Creations In Wood, will be held at the Bonnie
Castle Recreation Center near Alexandria Bay, NY, on July 31, August 1 and 2. This show is designed to offer a
venue to showcase skilled, talented designer craftspeople and fine artists. The theme of the show is "From the
Mountain and the River" and is open to makers of rustic furniture, sculpture, skiffs/canoes, art, pottery, ceramics,
jewelry, and items of home and cabin decor that reflect this theme. All work is to be done by the artist/maker who
will show it.
There is a selection process that does require photographs of your work to simply make sure it fits the stated
guidelines. Sending a CD or digitals by email is preferred. Photos or CDs will be returned to you if requested on
application form, otherwise they will be kept on file. After applying, you will be notified whether you have been
accepted. If your application included payment for a space but does not fit the stated guidelines or the show is full,
your payment will be returned in full.
A parallel event that will be happening at the same time as the Rustic Show is the annual antique boat show
in Clayton, New York. River tours and visitors to the island destinations of both Boldt Castle and Singer Castle are
part of the constant summer activity in Alexandria Bay.
Please contact me if you have any questions. I may be reached by phone or email using the information on

within and from the confines of the Alexandria Bay Arena subject to the rules and regulations of the show. Exhibitors are required to
carry insurance (3 day rider on existing business insurance policy) to cover exhibit material against damage or loss. Exhibitors are also
encouraged to carry public liability insurance to protect themselves against personal injury and the property of others, as Show
Management has not purchased insurance to cover any Exhibitor nor is it required to do so. Under no circumstances will Sixberry Lake
Campground, it’s representatives, employees or contractors be held accountable for any loss, damage or any act and by leasing

keeping with their stated display will be considered to be in breech of contract and will be removed from the show premises
immediately.
Exhibitor Badges: Exhibitor badges produced and assigned for individuals within your company are not to be shared, transferred or
given to any other party for the purpose of gaining “free admission” into the show. Violation of this rule will result in the immediate
confiscation of said badge(s), the removal of the party or parties, and an admission fee demanded for every badge confiscated.
Admission: While not necessarily common knowledge, the Promoter earns their living from the sale of admission tickets sold at the
door. Booth reservation fees only cover the hard costs to physically produce the show. To that end, Exhibitors are not to encourage or
allow friends, family or prospective clients into the show without paying an admission fee at any time. Discounted tickets are available
for purchase (in advance) from the Promoter to accommodate these needs.
